‘Residential’ to close 2016 British Urban Film Festival
Demus Pascall’s debut feature – starring Aubrey Whyte, Juanita Ingram, Jevon Brown, Bola Oke, Louis Jordan and Lawrence Brown will premiere at the British Urban Film Festival in September.

He plans to fully legitimise himself with the profits never to look back. Things take an ugly turn when ‘Freshers’ his childhood friend is mysteriously gunned down in a vicious set up, forcing Bolo to return to the life that he’s been trying to escape from, not knowing that an unexpected fate awaits him that will shake the foundations of everything that he’s ever believed in.
Residential is the debut feature from K.D. Pascall who began his filmmaking career in 2004 as a video journalist on the ‘Streetz Incarcerated’ DVD. In his time there, he interviewed artists such as Skepta, Dizzee Rascall, 50 Cent, Krept & Konan, Lethal B, Giggs and Chipmunk.
Residential (to be hosted by Travis Jay & Akua Gyamfi) will receive its’ UK and World premiere at Odeon Swiss Cottage on 20 September as part of a closing night double-header of films which also includes a documentary about tennis superstar Althea Gibson.
